Popular Wedding Trends In Bridesmaid Dresses - What's Hot This Fall

By

With all of the trends that change over time, our beautiful weddings have been way overdue for a change in bridesmaid dresses. In the past years every bridesmaid matching dresses that were always in the one style that the bride decided upon and there were no easy ways for the bridesmaid to let her know it was not fashionable, and they themselves may not even like it. Fall of 2011 trends on the runways have been making a huge impact on how this year's weddings will look.

For fall 2011, it appears that the most popular bridesmaid dress trend will now allow the bridesmaids to have their say in what they wear! The trend is for the bride to give her choice in color and then let the bridesmaids decide on their own behalf what design suits them best. This removes the stressful duty from the bride's already huge list of jobs to do as well as give the bridesmaids a chance to love the dress they will wear. I think this is the best move in trends as of yet. The bridesmaids will get to pick the designer and they can even buy the dress right off the rack to avoid alteration bills. The bride should let the bridesmaids know the level of formality they are looking for so the bridesmaids don't pick a dress that is way too casual while the rest of the wedding party is a bit more formal or too formal for a casual wedding. For the bridesmaids this year they are lucky, as they will be able to pick out a dress that they actually like and could possibly wear again instead of storing it away.

Expect to see some more trends on the wedding scene that you might not have seen in previous years. There will be dresses with chic sleeves that are more appropriate and more flattering no matter the age or size of the wearer. Colors will change as well. You will start seeing those smoky gray shades as charcoal hits this year's wedding scenes with it's beautiful hues. The charcoal color is very versatile as it can be accessorized in so many ways to express any look that you are trying to achieve. There will be a lot of two-tone dresses as well. The two toned gowns will look as though they are two separate dresses when they actually are one with one color bodice and another complimenting color to grace the lower half of the gown.

We are also going to see some beautiful jewel encrusted detailing on bridesmaids dresses for the fall season this year. What better than to add some lovely sparkles that shimmer and shine in a nice modest way? Two more elegant and beautiful design changes coming for our fall season is the bateau neckline and one shoulder dresses. These are sure to be a hit in any wedding. With all of the change this year, the possibilities will become endless! I think designers will have to work double hard next year in order to outdo this year's designs! To say the least, I believe the bridesmaids of the fall 2011 season are going to be some of the most beautiful that we have had to date.

These are some beautiful dresses. I enjoyed looking at them all. I never imagined black to be so attractive for a wedding. Nice hub.

I like the idea of being able to have a dress style that flatters each bridesmaid. Each dress can be different and yet they all go together. I also like the fact that the bridesmaid can have a dress that they like and may actually wear again. Thanks for the comment.
