Buying new things for baby is such fun. Once baby starts to grow up, dressing her only in diapers will not do at all.
She will need new dresses, bonnets, socks and booties or shoes and with the vast variety of products available on the market, selecting what’s best for baby will be your biggest problem.
When you are trying to buy baby’s first pair of shoes, you have to be very careful not only of the size, but of the quality of the material as well. The toes should never be cramped and bunched up causing discomfort to baby. This will also result in baby’s feet growing out of shape and forming bunions and corns to later on.
The bootie style of baby shoes is perfect for baby’s feet because they are very light and flexible. These shoes have handmade soles and are made of fabric which makes it easy to machine wash and dry. Baby will love them.
A baby who is just beginning to learn to walk should never wear high topped shoes which are bad for ankles and will not only retard their development but also weaken them. Always buy shoes with low cut ankles for baby although grandma might swear by high topped shoes which she used to wear when she was young.
With babies growing pretty fast, there’s no point in buying too many pairs of shoes for her. A dress pair however will not go waste and she will definitely look adorable on a special occasions cute little dress and matching dress shoes. It is always better to select shoes that have snaps rather than cords or ribbons which will come undone most of the time. wearing a
